Walt Disney's The Lion King (1994), Animation Crew Employee Only Limited Edition Cel #44/175 (Walt Disney, 1994). This is an amazing cel of Scar. Young Simba unintentionally insults his Uncle Scar. These Employee Only cels are some of the most sought after by animation art collectors. Only the number of cels that were ordered by the employees were ever made.

Each cel was created using original archived production artwork and were hand-painted at Disney's Ink and Paint Department located on the Disney studio lot in Burbank. This particular cel was created from Sequence 4/Scene 7 and features Scar & Simba painted on an acetate cel presented over a print background. Only 175 of this cel-setup were ever painted and this is #44. The cel has a Disney Feature Animation seal on it, and comes with an official Disney Certificate of Authenticity. Unframed, the cel size of this setup is approx 17" x 13".

This rare piece is in Mint Condition. Some photos shown with the protective tissue paper between acetate cell and printed background.
