ODDITY YELLOW NALA Disney Mattel 1993 The Lion King Sweetheart Simba and Nala. Up for sale is a 1993 mint in box collector's piece Disney's The Lion King sweetheart kissing Simba and Nala Plush set. This is an extremely rare piece of Disney merchandise and only an extremely small handful of these were made as they were quickly recalled due to error. The oddity is that the correct colour of Nala (light beige) has been made in a vivid yellow. The Lion King was released in 1994, yet these toys were in production during 1993. These are from my own personal collection. Quite possibly these are one of the rarest Lion King plushies in my collection, and I prefer them to go to another collector who will love them as I have. The box has slight wear to the edges, which is typical of an item nearly 30 years old- please see all pictures! I post signed and tracked.
