This is the third coin in the New Zealand Mint's popular Disney Lion King bullion series - and one of the coolest designs they dropped. Adult Simba walking the log with Timon and Pumbaa under a massive full moon. Pure "no worries" vibes captured.

History: Disney's The Lion King dropped in 1994 and became a cultural monster. The "Hakuna Matata" montage is one of the most iconic moments in the whole film - the point where young Simba leaves the Pride Lands and starts living free with his new friends. This coin freezes that exact scene in.

Released in 2021 as the third official Lion King bullion issue from NZ Mint. Obverse - Ian Rank-Broadley (IRB) portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The classic fourth portrait used on so many Commonwealth coins. Reverse - Official Disney-licensed artwork of adult Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa. Clean, bold, and instantly recognizable.
